The banking system of the independent Ukrainian State that had been formed in the period of general and extensive social transformations has played a major role in the development of the national financial sector, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country. Its formation is connected with the historic moments of modern Ukraine, origination and development of national banking and fiscal system.
Despite current hardships, banking infrastructure supports national economy, guarantees quality assistance to industrial innovation activity, and facilitates financial stability.
It is owed to the devotion of thousands employees, whose competence and responsibility contribute to the achievements of the banking sector, strengthen competitive ability of the national economy and promote consolidation of Ukraine´s position in the world.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will take every effort to guarantee legislative support of the banking system progress.
